Elitist, ‘class-conscious’ punks vent their hatred about “that band I used to like before they totally sold out man” over the internet.

I’m going to have to post something like “ATTENTION: MAKING A JOKE HERE” before I try to be witty again, I guess.  Hatred is a super strong word.  I’ve played in bands for long enough to understand that the concept of “selling out” is completely absurd.  Bands that rule should get paid accordingly, and should not get shit on for it.  I also know, mostly from you know, being alive for 25 years now, that worrying yourself about shit like this will subtract years from your life, and it’s best to not get all bent out of shape about it.  

Also.  Man, I STILL love Refused, but that doesn’t mean I can’t raise a point.  I love my friends, but I still call them out on their bullshit.  As you’ve dumped me into the “elitist” category, I’m placing you squarely in the “judgemental spreader of sweeping generalizations” category.  CHILL.  We’d probably be friends.
